As summer winds down and we put away the charcoal, drain the cooler of ice and get back into the old routine of school and the ol' nine-to-five drag, it's time for a new more appropriate catch-phrase to replace the summer catch-phrase of
"Fine! See if I care!"
Ladies and gentlemen, I give you - "FINE! BE that way then!"

Jeff McArthur to replace John Wilson? Stay tuned
THIS JUST IN: Alt-London has learned that John Wilson's replacement over at Corus Radio's NewsTalk AM-980 is likely to be Jeff McArthur, (pictured left) host of McArthur in the Morning from 5 am to 8:30 am at 103.9-The Hawk-FM.
The announcement will be made on Monday, September 1 -- at least that's what my little turtle dove says that keeps landing on my window sill in the morning, whispering sweet nothings in my virgin ears.
Will the show's producer/call-screener be required to be an on-air Ed McMahon and laugh uproarishly at EVERYTHING Jeff says?
Make that, the announcement will be made on Tuesday, September 2.

Regarding Ed and Jeff, I have no idea as I've never listened to him on the radio -- just TV when he was co-host of daytime on Rogers TV a few years ago.

And I always only use three exclamation points following 'MacLarty' - never five.
