Sonny...thanks for the last few posts. I love the man's work. I should be so lucky to create anything in my lifetime as beautiful as the sidewalk painting (notwithstanding my kids, of course).
Art's in the eye of the beholder - or some such nonsense - but it reminds me somehow of an early Saturday Summer morning in Chatham(!!) when I was the first kid on the street ready to play something, anything.
Thank you for highlighting the work of Brian Jones. I had no familiarity with his work before this post (as I am a prole), but I sincerely appreciate you bringing his work to my attention. And I agree with your opinion of "Neighbours", we do live there. Your 9 post study of his work is one I have bookmarked and will go back to in the future.
David - Brian Jones was a 'prole' just like the rest of us who visit here. But a gifted one.
You can see more of his stuff at www.lochgallery.com - click on 'Browse Brian Jones paintings' on his 'Artist page.' ... you have to scroll right a bit to see the actual painting and can enlarge if you so desire.
Lots of Saturday morning/kids scenes that Crazy L remembers so well.

Thanks, man.
Thanks, Crazy - apparently his alma mater in Chatham was Tecumseh High School. ... in your neck of the woods?
